Terms of Service
Effective June 12, 2026
1. What Statewise is (and is not)
Statewise is an independent study tool for state insurance licensing exams. It provides practice questions, a timed exam simulator, and progress tracking.
Statewise is not a state-approved pre-licensing education course and does not satisfy mandatory pre-licensing education hours where your state requires them. Statewise is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by any state department of insurance or testing vendor. Exam outlines, fees, and rules belong to the states and their vendors and can change; always confirm requirements with your state before booking an exam.
Practice scores and readiness estimates are study aids. They are not a prediction or guarantee that you will pass a licensing exam.
2. Your account
You need an account with a verified email address to use the paid product. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old. You can delete your account at any time from account settings, which permanently removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Purchases and access
Question banks are one-time purchases that grant access for a fixed window (shown at purchase, currently 180 days) to the named state and line of authority. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Prices may change, but a change never affects access you have already bought. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
- One account per person; do not share access to paid content.
- Do not scrape, bulk-copy, resell, or republish questions, rationales, or other content.
- Do not probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules. Where the breach is content theft or access sharing, no refund is owed for the remaining access window.
5. Content and intellectual property
All Statewise content (questions, rationales, takeaways, design, and software) is owned by Statewise or its licensors and is licensed to you for personal study only. State exam outlines remain the property of the respective states and vendors; Statewise content is original material organised against those public outlines.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep content accurate and current against official outlines, but regulations change and errors can occur; the official sources always control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Statewise's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance. Questions: support@statewiseexams.com.
